How do I create and run virtual lessons?
What you can do here
A list of lessons ("Lesson", "Class", "Start Date", "Options"). Per lesson you can use "Start Lesson", "Send Invite Email", "Edit", "View" and "Delete". Finished lessons are marked "Finished".
Page links: "Add a new lesson" and "Try a Demo". Bulk option: "With selected lessons", then "Remove Lessons", then "Go".
- Safeguarding: "To add a new lesson you are required to have setup a safeguarding officer." Use "Setup Safeguarding Officer", which goes to "Edit my school".
- Before entering: you're told the lesson is "recorded securely for the protection of staff and pupils, and could be used as evidence in a court of law". You confirm with "Yes" ("I understand this lesson is being recorded for safeguarding reasons. I agree to adhere to my school's conduct and behaviour expectations.") or "No".
How to do it
- If asked, set up a safeguarding officer first ("Setup Safeguarding Officer").
- Click "Add a new lesson" (or "Try a Demo").
- To invite people, click "Send Invite Email".
- At the start time, click "Start Lesson", then "Yes" to accept the recording notice.
- To remove lessons, tick them, choose "Remove Lessons" and click "Go".
